When natural gas is produced , in its processing it generally undergoes a drop in pressure and temperature. As the result of these pressure and temperature changes a combination of saturated hydrocarbons and water will be produced. This mixture of condensed hydrocarbons and water is generally called condensate.

Condensate is a valuable byproduct of natural gas and can be sold as a fuel separately from the natural gas. It is important therefore to continually monitor and sample the water content of the condensate . The EASZ-1 water in condensate meter has been developed and manufactured in Duplex stainless steel because of corrosive contaminants generally present in raw natural gas.

The compact monitors are fully certified for use in hazardous and are produced for pressures up to 3600 psi. The products also meet the requirements mandated by the European PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) The units are 2 wire loop powered and simple to install and operate and virtually no maintenance is required .
